If you haven't already, now is the time to make sure you are pre-registered for iFC! After July 21st, online registration and pre-reg pricing will go away for good. This is also aligned with the day that the Hilton Indianapolis North will cut-off it's online reservation service. After July 21st, all registrations will need to be completed at the door during the event. Hotel reservations after that date will need to be made by calling the hotel directly and asking to speak with the sales department. Whoozfur's First Cookout Wrap-Up
We had our first cookout of 2010 this past Saturday at Craig Park in Greenwood, IN. Although rain came to the city that day, it didn’t stop anyone from coming. After all was said and done, we had 57 attendees and donations totaled at $52.69, which is more than enough to do another event next month. People at the cookout were asked when they would like the next event and the majority preferred the weekend before Anthrocon this year. Our plan as of now is to secure a spot that weekend somewhere in the Indianapolis metro area.
Changes To Registration
Today, the registration system we have been using will be closing permanently. Although the system did it's job, it is no longer sufficient enough to serve the needs of the convention. We are adopting a new e-commerce solution that is fully integrated into the convention's main website. The new system will be activated this week. This allows us to better serve our members in many ways including the following.
